The blended program is spread over a period of 2.5 months. It starts with various e-learning modules, which are supplemented with online meetings. The program concludes with a 5-day meeting in the Netherlands.
The program covers various critical topics such as the significance and advantages of a (harmonized) PBR system, the legal framework established by the UPOV Convention, administrative procedures, the background and practical aspects of DUS-testing, the use of molecular techniques in PVP and the enforcement of rights. To enhance your learning experience, the e-learning modules include videos featuring individuals from various countries who share their personal reflections and insights on their experiences with PVP systems.
The blended training program consists of 7 e-learning modules, supplemented with six trainer-led live sessions (online). Prior to this there will be an online technical and introduction session. In these sessions we elaborate on the e-learning modules and start preparations for the on-site training in the Netherlands. The on-site program offers a diverse and inspirational week filled with excursions, case studies, and role-playing activities. All participants have the chance to forge connections with colleagues and companies from around the world. You also be treated to a delightful boat ride, giving you the chance to experience the enchanting lowlands from the water.
